School district 206 provides bus service for Zion students on the public school routes. Students are delivered to Zion in the morning. After school, students are bussed to Discovery Middle School and transfer to the bus that takes them home.
Any student going home with another student and/or traveling to a different destination than home or daycare must obtain a District 206 Bus Pass from their teacher. Passes will only be given if Zion receives written permission from parents of both children. Any questions or route changes can be directed to District 206 transportation office @ 320-762-2148.
Students who ride bicycles to school are expected to follow all traffic rules. After arriving at school, students are to place bicycles in the bike rack near the school entrance and leave them there until dismissed at 2:55 p.m. Following dismissal, students should walk their bikes to the edge of the school property and begin their trip home after the busses have pulled away.
District 206 busses are an extension of Zion's classrooms. Riding the bus is a privilege. Inappropriate behavior on the bus can lead to the loss of this privilege and will result in discipline at Zion Lutheran School as well.
