Clint and Jodi Gray

"Graduation from Zion in 8th grade has been vital to the spiritual growth of our daughters. It has prepared them emotionally and has helped to keep them strong in their faith through their final years of school."

THE ZION DIFFERENCE

At such important years of growth and influence in a child's life, their teenage years can offer many struggles. You want to protect them. At Zion, your family is around you, and Christ is the center of it all. We are blessed to be able to take some of those influences of drugs, sex, and peer pressure that are everywhere and guide your child in the direction God has planned for them.

How will my child transition to 9th grade?

The high school starts at 9th grade so there couldn't be a greater opportunity to put this question to rest in your mind. Your child will begin a new school at the same time as the rest of the district. Our prayer is that this transition is done with confidence because of the special growing years spent knowing who they are in Christ at Zion.

What about academics?

We are very proud of the Zion Alumni and their academic excellence. Zion is very competitive in test scores, and 80% of our students find themselves at the top of their class in public school.

If my child stays at Zion, what about sports and music?

Zion has an excellent relationship with District 206. Many of our students are part of the public school and music programs. This also offers them the opportunity to make connections outside of Zion and excel in both. Additionally, for these activities there is transportation provided.

Who can I talk to if I have more questions?

We have many parents who would like to share with you about the blessing Zion has been in their families' lives. For any additional questions, contact the school office, and we can put you in touch with the right people for your needs.

Happy Children
Train up a child in the way he should go;
even when he is old he will not part from it.
