Serving Our Community
Serving those in need and sharing the love of Christ is at the core of who we are at Zion Lutheran School. Students are given many opportunities to serve others through a variety of school-sponsored events. Students learn valuable skills while experiencing a real joy in sharing their faith and gifts with others in the Alexandria area and beyond.
You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh; rather, serve one another humbly in love. - Galatians 5:13
We serve our community by:
*Go to Local Nursing Homes and do service projects and bring the joy of music to residents.

*Christmas Caroling through shopping centers.

*Encourage students to do service projects on their own for Kiwanis Terrific Kids.
​
*Give our chapel money to 2 local, 1 National, and 1 International charity. This past year we gave to the Food Shelf, Jingle Bells, Flooding in Nebraska, and Helping w/oversea missions including water purifiers through Bread To The Nations.
